Project: New Care Home, Beckton

The new residential care home was built on a site formerly used for heavy industry has required special sub-structure design with a traditional building design as appropriate in a newly developing area. The care home includes 84 individual bedrooms, lounges, dining rooms, nursing stations and other support facilities. We designed this building as a prototype for further care homes buildings. Particular and detailed consultation was carried out with the directors and staff of the Care Home group.
Project: Clifton Gardens Care Home, Chiswick London W4

Clifton Gardens Home provides 24 hours assisted care, support and supervision to frail and elderly residents who can no longer live independently. The new wing provided for ten additional bedrooms with en-suite facilities including communal and activities room. The construction of the new wing was designed to enable the Care Home to remain in use during the construction stage with minimum disruption to the staff and residents. Full and detailed consultation and briefing was carried out with the Care home manager and the staff during the design stage with continuing liaison during the construction phase.
